Monoprints

These prints are unique works of art, produced using various techniques including gell plate, linocut, collage and mixed media. Some elements can be reproduced but each piece is an individual original.
The Fern Collection

This latest collection was inspired by the changing moods of nature from mid to late summer. With each individual print I wanted to convey being enveloped by the vegetation that you might find at ground level.
Each individual monoprint is hand finished using different media to create a similar but completely unique artwork.
The Freedom Collection

This collection is a variation of a continuing theme in my work, the freedom that we witness in the flight of birds, in particular the seagulls that swoop around my home.

The Omen Collection
​
This collection of screenprints has been inspired by a quotation from Giorgio de Chirico, the Greek-Italian artist and writer.
'One of the strangest feelings left to us by prehistory is the sensation of omen. It will always exist. It is like an eternal proof of the "non-sequitur" of the universe. The first man must have seen omens everywhere, he must have shuddered at each step.'
Blended layers of ink on each screenprint combined with elements of collage make each print similar but a completely unique artwork.
